The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. Our mission is to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. We are committed to advancing health equity – which can exist only when all people can have the opportunity to enjoy healthier lives. We’re removing barriers to health through work in communities, scientific research, advocating for healthy policies and more. We are thrilled to share that the American Heart Association has been recognized on the Forbes 2023 list of America’s Best Mid-Size Employers! During 2024 - our Centennial year - join us in celebrating our rich 100-year history and accomplishments that could not have been made possible without the people within #TheAHALife.
About Interns of Impact:
We welcome interns throughout the year to various departments and from a variety of majors. Whether you're studying IT, Communications, Public Health, Human Resources and beyond, the American Heart Association has an internship for you.
Our commitment is to provide a rewarding experience to each intern by offering an inclusive work environment where professional skills can be developed and where there is opportunity to observe, assist, and learn about the work done at the Association.
