Studio Coordinator

Are you the kind of person who loves keeping things organized, enjoys talking to people, and wants to be involved in truly making an impact in peoples’ lives?

If so, keep reading.

We're a performance-based music education program that teaches ages 6 through adult. We put on many live shows throughout the year with friends and family watching from the audience with their phones out. Behind the scenes, there's a lot going on to make this all happen — and that's where our Studio Coordinators come in.

The Role

This is a busy, customer-facing role. You'll be scheduling, following up with leads, answering questions, greeting families/students, and helping the day run smoothly — often several of those things at the same time. It's manageable, but it takes good judgment: knowing what needs your attention first, staying organized when priorities shift, and keeping your cool when things get lively. But you won't be in it alone! There is a lot of training and support. If that sounds like the kind of environment you do your best work in, you’ll love it here.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Playing an integral role in the daily operations including opening and closing the school, keeping it clean, safe, and running like it should
  • Juggling a student schedule that changes regularly using our scheduling software
  • You'll be fluent in Google Workspace, our CRM, and Canva: keeping it all organized takes real attention to detail
  • Being the first friendly voice or face a family experiences — on the phone, at the desk, or leading a tour - to help uphold our positive and inclusive culture
  • Talking to prospective families about the program with genuine knowledge and enthusiasm and helping them enroll. A growth mindset is imperative!
  • Helping with social media and event promotion — you should be comfortable jumping into content creation
  • Watching out for our students' safety and making sure our Code of Conduct is more than a poster on the wall
  • Working closely with our instructors, staff and General Manager — this is a collaborative, team environment
  • Backing up the General Manager on whatever the priorities are that week

The Right Person

  • You've spent 2+ years at a front desk, in reception, or in customer service, and you're comfortable with a lot happening at once
  • You're naturally organized, and details matter to you — this is a big part of doing the job well
  • You like kids!
  • You can juggle multiple things and still greet the person walking through the door like they're the only thing on your mind
  • You stay steady when things get hectic
  • You communicate clearly, in writing and in person
  • You're a genuine team player
  • You show up with energy and a positive attitude
  • You're professional and have good judgment
  • Bonus: you know music, or you're the person your friends ask for playlist recommendations
  • Double bonus: You want to help out with events!

Training is provided, you'll be joining a team that genuinely likes working together, and you'll get a front-row seat to watching students find something they're truly proud of, over and over again.

If this all sounds like something you’d be great at — send us your resume and a cover letter that tells us why. We read them.

Selected applicants will be contacted to schedule an initial interview.
