Onsite Project Management Intern

Join Hilscher-Clarke as an Onsite Project Management Intern supporting large-scale construction projects in the Columbus Metro area. This role provides hands-on exposure to project management, field operations, documentation control, and construction coordination within an active jobsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and field teams with day-to-day project coordination activities 
• Assist with project documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawings, and material logs 
• Gain exposure to material tracking, logistics, and jobsite organization 
• Support field operations through coordination and administrative assistance 
• Participate in QA/QC and commissioning activities as assigned 
• Help ensure project documentation is current, organized, and accessible 
• Follow all onsite safety requirements and participate in jobsite practices 
• Work closely with both office and field teams in a fast-paced construction environment
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field 
• Interest in construction, field operations, or project management careers

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic understanding of construction drawings or willingness to learn
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel preferred) and/or Google Suite
• Exposure to tools like Bluebeam, Autodesk, or similar platforms is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in team environments
• Self-starter with willingness to learn and take initiative
• Ability to work onsite in a construction jobsite environment
