Position Title:                   Guest Receptionist (Greeter)

Department:                      Office    

Reports To:                        Business Development Specialist                              

Position Status:                Part Time, Non-Exempt

Hours:                                  Monday - Saturday fluctuating hours during business hours of 8:00am-6:00pm (with some variation based on business needs)

Job Summary

The Guest Receptionist is responsible for ensuring all guests are welcomed and directing them appropriately. This position is required to perform a variety of duties ranging from answering the phone, filing, and customer service. The Guest Receptionist must be a highly motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed and demonstrate a high level of organizational skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  1. Answer telephone, direct calls, take and relay messages.
  2. Greet guests and direct them to the correct destination.
  3. Provide information on services and products for all Snell Companies.
  4. Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
  5. Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with all customers and employees.
  6. Ensure guest waiting area is clean and tidy at all times.
  7. Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently.
  8. Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

 

Education/Experience

  • Highschool diploma/ GED required.
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to multitask and manage various projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle cash and other forms of payment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position is generally a light work position which requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force. It may require medium work at times, which is exerting up to 20 pounds of force. Physical activities include balancing, stopping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting. The worker will be subject to inside and outside environmental factorings including weather, noise, dust, debris and fumes.
