We are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team. In our practice, oral health is integral to overall wellness. You will play a critical role in delivering exceptional preventative care, educating patients on oral health, and partnering with us to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
Preventative Clinical Care: Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing; apply prophylactic treatments (fluoride, sealants); and administer local anesthesia.
Patient Assessment & Screening: Conduct initial oral health assessments, review medical histories, perform oral cancer screenings, take blood pressure, and accurately chart dental and periodontal conditions.
Diagnostics: Take high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral camera photos to assist in accurate diagnoses co-discovery.
Patient Education: Provide customized oral hygiene instruction, dietary counseling, and post-operative care education, empowering patients to manage their long-term oral health.
Treatment Planning & Collaboration: Partner with the dentist to identify periodontal disease and restorative needs, presenting comprehensive care options to patients seamlessly.
Sterilization & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols to ensure a safe, sterile environment for patients and team members.
Accurate Record-Keeping: Document detailed clinical notes, treatment plans, and patient interactions within the dental practice management software.
Qualifications & Skills
Licensure: Licensed in the state of Nevada to practice as a RDH by date hired.
Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Certifications: Active CPR/BLS certification. Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring certification is highly preferred as is a Laser certification.
Technical Savvy: Proficiency with digital X-ray software and electronic health records (EHR)/dental practice management software.
Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, an empathetic chairside manner, and the ability to calm anxious patients.
Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for clinical detail and a strong commitment to organizational cleanliness.
