Site Director for Before & Afterschool Program - McKeesport, PA

KinderCare Champions is hiring a Before and After School Site Director for an extended day program in McKeesport, PA! (Apply online at the link below to be considered!)

  • Program is hosted at Francis McClure Elementary School
  • 500 Longvue Dr, White Oak, PA, 15131
  • Children are Grades K-5, Ages 5-11
  • $250 sign on bonus, $250 retention bonus

Program Hours:

  • Programs Run Monday - Friday!
  • No Nights! No Weekends!
  • Before School Hours: 7:00 am - 8:30 am
  • After School Hours: 2:45 pm - 6:00pm
  • Additional Hours Outside of program for admin tasks
  • Site Director Role Hours: 35 - 37 Hours Weekly

Please Note that we are a licensed childcare organization and this role requires ONE OF THE FOLLOWING requirements to be met in order to be qualified as a Site Director:

  • A Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services field; OR
  • A Bachelor's degree in any concentration, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services fields, AND 1 year of experience with children, OR
  • An Associate's degree early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services field AND 2 years of experience with children, OR
  • An Associate's degree in another concentration, with at least 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services field AND 3 years of experience with children.

What you’ll do:

  • Enrich the lives of school age kids
  • Work in ratio with staff & kids during program hours
  • Implement KCE’s curriculum & Planning
  • Partner with parents and school personnel to cultivate positive lasting relationships!
  • Create a safe, nurturing environment
  • Partner & communicate with Parents, School Staff, and Students, while Cultivating Positive Relationships
  • Supervise Children & complete hourly headcounts
  • Manage Administrative Oversight including Licensing files, enrollment campaigns, and site daily operations.
