Summary of Position
The Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) serves as a visible and proactive customer support leader within the assigned area of responsibility (AOR). This role focuses on identifying, developing, and closing product support opportunities with both existing and new customers. Responsibilities include promoting parts, service, maintenance programs, repairs, and other approved aftermarket of allied brand offerings to help Brooks Tractor achieve monthly revenue and profitability goals.
This is an outside sales position requiring strong communication skills, self-management, and the ability to balance customer needs with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell machine maintenance and repair services, parts, extended warranties, and other approved aftermarket products.
- Represent the company and promote product support solutions within a defined sales territory.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of Brooks Tractor's equipment, services, and product support offerings.
- Provide basic technical assistance to customers where applicable or understand where to find assistance for customers as needed.
- Document all sales activities using company-provided CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
- Maintain complete and current territory and customer information as directed.
- Monitor and report on competitive activity, market conditions, and industry trends.
- Test and operate machinery at customer sites when required.
- Maintain professionalism and uphold all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, peers, and internal support teams.
- Keep company-provided vehicle clean, maintained, and presentable.
- Extensive driving is required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Performance Metrics:
- Acheivement of assigned monthly and annual parts and service sales targets.
- Meeting territory activity expectations, including regular customer visits and proactive outreach.
- Quote generation and timely follow-up, with performace evaluated by quote-to-conversion ratios.
- Growth of customer participation in maintenance programs, service contracys, and extended warranties.
- Accuracy and timeliness of CRM entries, account updates, and documentation.
- Customer satisfaction levels and responsiveness to customer inquiries.
- Completion of assigned training and maintenance of up-to-date product knowledge.
- Development of new customer accounts within the assigned territory customer service focus.

- A strong mechanical aptitue and willingness to learn are key to success in this role.
Education/Work Experience
Experience in outside sales is preferred. Experience with equipment, machines, or construction industry is a plus.
