Mental Health Professional

BRAND NEW FEMALE RESIDENTIAL FACILITY COMING TO CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP~!

We are looking for a Mental Health Professional to join our team!

DTAC is seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Professional to provide therapeutic services to adolescents in a residential treatment setting. This role is responsible for conducting assessments, facilitating individual and group therapy, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

The ideal candidate is trauma-informed, collaborative, and committed to delivering evidence-based care that promotes growth, accountability, and long-term stability for youth.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct clinical assessments and provide diagnostic impressions using evidence-based tools
  • Provide individual and group counseling to assigned youth
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups focused on family systems, human sexuality, life skills, coping strategies, and problem-solving
  • Develop and present psychoeducational seminars aligned with industry best practices
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation including intakes, assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and incident reports
  • Communicate objective clinical information to treatment team members, families, referral sources, and court personnel as requested
  • Support the health, safety, and therapeutic structure of the residential environment
  • Plan and participate in therapeutic, recreational, and educational activities using a culturally responsive, trauma-informed approach
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and participate in clinical supervision
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related clinical/human services related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in child/adolescent behavioral health
  • Licensed or license-eligible within the Pennsylvania State Board aligned with your scope of practice

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities for children and adolescents
  • Experience providing trauma-informed care
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

Education:
