Key Details

Pay: $16.50-$17/hour (DOE) + $4–$5/hour in tips on average

Benefits: Medical, vision, and dental (for 40+ hours); PTO; staff discounts; and more

Schedule: Part-Time. Everyone works closing shifts; consistent schedules based on team availability & performance

Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday) required

Shifts are typically 7–8 hours (examples: 8:00–4:30, 7:45–3:00)

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll be the first impression of our bakery. You’ll:

Provide warm, enthusiastic service and upsell to increase sales

Take orders in the café and by phone

Help customers with allergies find safe products

Prepare pastry and café orders, including barista duties

Pack orders for walk-ins and online platforms (Uber Eats, DoorDash, in-house)

Open/close the bakery, clean, stock, and wash dishes

Follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols

Support team members and contribute to a positive workplace

Represent Petunia’s as a true brand ambassador

Qualifications

We’re looking for people who:

Are dependable, flexible, and take pride in their work

Can lift 50 lbs and handle a fast-paced service environment

Have (or can quickly obtain) an Oregon Food Handler’s Card
