Clinical Outreach Specialist - Brown University Student Counseling

Position Summary: The Clinical Outreach Specialist position is co-located at the Brown University Counseling and Psychological Services center. This position works with students at Brown University by supporting their mental health needs through campus outreach, psychoeducation, community building, making referrals and connection with campus and community resources. Supports students’ health and well-being in response to the recent incident of mass violence.  

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a human service-related field (counseling, social work, psychology) preferred.
  • Must have the ability to work non-traditional hours
  • Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
  • Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.

Physical Requirements: This position requires community visits, employees in this position must have the ability to:

  • Ability to communicate effectively    
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs
