Pay: $15/hour (biweekly payroll)
POP is a specialty scratch bakery crafting handmade cakepops and cakes using high-quality ingredients. We participate in local farmers markets and community events throughout the year and are looking for dependable, friendly individuals to represent our brand.

Position Overview
The Farmers Market Sales Associate serves as the primary representative of POP Bakery at assigned markets in the Cincinnati, OH area. This role requires independence, accountability, and professionalism. Responsibilities include transporting product and equipment, setting up and breaking down the booth, engaging customers, handling transactions, and ensuring smooth market operations.
Estimated Hours
Saturdays: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM (6 hours)
Additional shifts may be available based on business needs.
Attendance at scheduled markets is mandatory.
Schedule subject to change based on market participation and weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Pick up product and transport market equipment using reliable personal vehicle (vehicle not provided by POP Bakery)
- Set up and break down tent, tables, and display materials
- Ensure booth is fully operational prior to market opening
- Engage customers with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Accurately process cash and card transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized display throughout market hours
- Track beginning and ending inventory
- Submit end-of-shift sales totals and inventory reconciliation
- Follow all local health department and farmers market regulations
- Represent POP with professionalism at all times
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve
Preferred (Not Required)
- Previous customer service or food service experience
- Knowledge of food safety practices
