Millwork / Casework Installer (Traveling)

$40–$50/hour plus performance bonuses (depending on experience)

 

Growing Design-Build firm specializing in Casino, Hospitality, Food & Beverage, and Retail industries, looking for an experienced, skilled finish carpenter to join our traveling installation team. Position includes the ability to work with a team of people who are creating innovative, compelling retail environments using state of the art construction methods. Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
  • Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
  • Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements
  • Work with install team to unload, assemble, and install "decor structures"
  • Install finish millwork and casework packages.

 

Skills

  • Proven experience as finish carpenter
  • Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
  • Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
  • Proficient in the use of these tools:
  • SCM Sliding Table Saw
  • Sliding Compound Miter Saw
  • Blum Hinge Machine
  • Maggi Boring Machine
  • Oscillating Edge Sander
  • Powermatic - Jointer
  • Ironwood Straight-line Rip Saw
  • Ability to read technical documents and drawings
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
  • Good understanding of basic math

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $40 - $50/hour plus performance bonuses (depending on experience)
