2026 Activities Team Member
Position Overview
Activities Team Members are responsible for planning, organizing, and leading recreational activities and events for guests of all ages. This role focuses on creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment while delivering memorable experiences that enhance the overall campground atmosphere. Activities Team Members are enthusiastic, outgoing, and play a key role in guest engagement and entertainment.
This is a seasonal position, with employment typically running from mid-March or early April through the end of October or the first week of November, depending on operational needs and calendar dates. As a seasonal role, employment will conclude at the end of the operating season.
Hours Overview
The Busy Barn is open Friday from 4 pm-9 pm with one attendant needed to stay late for movie night (ends around 11 pm). On saturday it is open 9 am-9 pm with an open and close shift. On sunday it is open 9 am-4 pm
Primary ResponsibilitiesActivity Planning & Execution
- Assist in planning, preparing, and leading scheduled campground activities
- Facilitate games, crafts, competitions, and themed events for guests of all ages
- Follow activity schedules, timelines, and safety guidelines
- Set up and break down activity areas, equipment, and supplies
Guest Engagement & Safety
- Engage positively with guests and encourage participation in activities
- Ensure activities are conducted in a safe, inclusive, and age-appropriate manner
- Monitor participants during activities and report concerns to management
- Enforce campground rules and activity-specific guidelines
Equipment & Supply Management
- Maintain and organize activity supplies and equipment
- Report damaged, missing, or low supplies to management
- Assist with inventory and restocking of activity materials
Event & Team Support
- Assist with special events, themed weekends, and peak-season programming
- Work collaboratively with other departments to support campground operations
- Assist with guest flow, announcements, and crowd management during events

Schedule & Seasonality
- This is a seasonal position
- Typical employment period: mid-March/early April through late October/early November, depending on seasonal operations
- Hours may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak event periods
- Employment will conclude at the end of the operating season due to the seasonal nature of the role
Qualifications
- Outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic personality
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lead groups and engage guests of various age ranges
- Ability to follow schedules, instructions, and safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move activity equipment as needed
- Prior experience working with children, groups, or recreational programming preferred but not required
