Entry Level Civil Engineer (E.I.)

Civil Design, Inc. (CDI) is a privately owned and operated Civil Engineering consulting firm that specializes in roadway, commercial, industrial, municipal, residential, and institutional land development projects. CDI prides itself in providing personalized service to meet the needs of our clients. Our office is located in West Palm Beach, Florida. CDI seeks a dynamic, motivated entry-level Civil Engineer Intern (E.I.) to join our team. The position is full time with competitive salary and benefits. Training and mentoring will be provided by licensed professional engineers on staff. Responsibilities will be progressive and will ultimately include preparation of engineering studies; surface water management calculations; lift station calculations; plans for site layout, paving, grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, etc. to meet local, state, and federal requirements.

Must Have:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering;
• Recent graduate to 5 years’ experience in the civil engineering field;
• EI certification ( or passed the FE) required;
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, ICPR (or equivalent), Adobe, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel);
• Must have a valid Florida’s Driver’s License and own vehicle;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities;
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
