About the Job
3Flow is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented engineering student to support our consulting project team. This role provides hands on exposure to the analysis and optimization of ventilation systems in laboratories and other critical workspaces. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, gain familiarity with regulatory compliance standards, and contribute to high quality technical solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and performance.
The role also focuses on improving internal consulting operations through the development of standard operating procedures, templates, and performance tracking tools.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development
- Assist in the design, development, and refinement of consulting division templates and technical tools
- Develop and maintain tools to measure, analyze, and report consulting division KPIs
- Collaboration and Engineering Support
- Work alongside senior engineers to support solutions related to laboratory and critical environment HVAC systems, building controls, and energy management strategies.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure consistent and efficient consulting workflows
- Process Improvement and Documentation
- Develop and document standard operating procedures for recurring consulting tasks
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve data tracking.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s engineering degree program, in the United States, and graduating between Dec 2026 and June 2028.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated through coursework, lab work, or internships
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and troubleshoot technical or process related challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Coding or scripting experience.
- Ability to travel to and from local project locations (estimate <10% travel).
- Interest in professional development through workshops, technical publications, and professional organizations
