Line Cook
The Waterside Group is hiring seasonal Line Cooks for their multiple locations in New Hampshire. Line Cook – Job Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
- Set up and stock assigned stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients
- Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
- Follow portion control procedures to minimize waste and ensure consistency
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, ovens, and knives
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and temperatures throughout service
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order execution
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation before, during, and after shifts
- Label, date, and properly store food items according to health regulations
- Comply with all local health, safety, and workplace regulations
- Assist with inventory, restocking, and notifying management of supply needs
- Follow direction from the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Support team members during peak service times
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
