Construction Coordinator - Field Engineer

Our entry-level leadership role of a Field Engineer is the backbone of our project teams—connecting plans on paper to work in the field. What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Project Execution & Field Coordination
- Support daily construction operations to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
- Coordinate with Trade Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to keep work moving efficiently
- Track daily production quantities, equipment usage, and cost data to support accurate reporting and forecasting
- Assist with short-interval planning (two-week lookahead) and daily Plan of the Day execution
Quality, Safety & Environmental Stewardship
- Help enforce Blattner’s zero life-altering events safety culture on site
- Support QA/QC inspections, documentation, and compliance with project Quality Plans
- Assist with environmental compliance activities including SWPPP, erosion control, and permit requirements
Documentation & Cost Control
- Support engineering reviews, RFIs, as-builts, and job book documentation
- Assist with subcontractor progress tracking, pay applications, and change documentation
- Monitor job costs against estimates and escalate risks or variances early
Collaboration & Leadership Development
- Partner closely with Superintendents, Project Construction Coordinators, and Site Managers to support field leadership
- Build strong working relationships with clients, landowners, utilities, and internal teams
- Participate in structured onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing development opportunities

What We’re Looking For
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Interest in renewable energy or large-scale construction projects
- Willingness to travel and work project-based assignments (typical projects range 6–18 months)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced field environment
- A team-first mindset with a commitment to safety, integrity, and continuous improvement

$69,083.00 - $100,170.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
