About Us
JL Mag (USA) Inc. is located in Ontario, California and Henderson, Nevada. It is a marketing and design engineering office for the US market. Our magnets are critical to the green energy initiative. They are widely used in Electric Vehicles, Powertrains, Wind Power Turbines, Robotics, and Mobile Phone Actuation (speaker, camera, vibration, etc.). Our customers are the premier American makers of those products.
Responsibilities:
JL Mag is looking for a full-time Mechanical Engineering Manager working in Ganzhou, Jiangxi, China. As one of the technology leaders in our Humanoid Robotic Division, this position covers the following aspects of our operations:
- Review and improve current designs
- Optimize production process to improve yield and efficiency
- Communicate with customers regarding technical and quality issues
- Leading a team of currently four engineers and growing the team in number and capability
- Requires business travel to the US to visit customers
- Project cycle driven, overtime work is required
Qualifications:
This position requires a strong technical background, leadership and communication skills.
- Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong engineering knowledge covering basic manufacturing techniques such as CNC turning, grinding and milling, metal heat treat, GD&T and measurement methodology
- A superb communicator to discuss technical issues with customers and management issues with senior management
- A target-driven leader can effectively manage and train a team of four or more engineers
- Able to take responsibilities and execute effectively
- Able to handle high pressure that comes with a rapid development design cycle
- A quick and self-motivated learner
Compensation:
This job has basic salary, bonus and stock option:
- 300K RMB per year is the base salary
- Bonus is up to 80K RMB, the actual amount is based on performance review
- Stock option (details to contact employer)
- Moving Bonus: 20K RMB
- Free single room dormitory and three meals per day (Utility is not included)
